Matthew Cavaiola, NMD
Dr. Cavaiola is a licensed naturopathic medical doctor in the state of Arizona. Dr. Cavaiola’s primary areas of interest at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors are the natural treatment of hormonal imbalance in both men and women, weight loss and natural pain management.
Dr. Cavaiola is passionate about using Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy to help regulate hormonal imbalances which cause a multitude of problems as men and women age. He also provides a naturopathic approach to treating his patients and takes the time to address all of his patients’ concerns and provides guidance on specific health problems.
Dr. Cavaiola is a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona and received his Master's Degree in Acupuncure from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. He completed more than 1800 hours of clinical training in Naturopathic Medicine and has specifically devoted over 1500 additional hours of clinical and didactic training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) while studying both at SCNM and at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Dr. Cavaiola also obtained a Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition and a Bachelors degree in Human Biology from the University of Delaware.
Jason Porter, NMD
Jason Porter is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor in the state of Arizona. Dr. Porter is licensed as a general family practitioner and is considered an expert in the field of chronic pain. He is also passionate about the natural treatment of hormonal imbalances using Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and about the use of natural therapeutics in assisting patients to reach their weight loss goals.
Dr. Porter is a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona, and is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AZNMA), the Naturopathic Association of Therapeutic Injection (NATI), and the American College for the Advancement of Medicine (ACAM).
Born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, Dr. Porter currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife of 15 years. He has three active sons and two rambunctious daughters.
